I really enjoy the way you've indicated what the shallow water parts are. Along with general the palettes you've picked. I think it works well with the tone of the game
I thought the coin collecting bit was clever and the shallow water part was really creative. Although I would suggest a few things. Some type of counter to know how many coins you collected so far or how many you need left to fix the bike. I know how tricky Bitsy can be about that though. Also I notice the walls in the caves are able to be walked through. I thought it was fun being like Danny Phantom though.
10/10 would play this while walking through a strange device that rearranges my molecules.

The textures on the ground are really cool. I especially like how the trees look.
